Yin Yoga with Live Viola Performance

This workshop is open to all levels of yoga practitioners, no matter what your age or body size is! During this two hours workshop, we will dive into the deep layers of our body -both physical and energetical levels- with accompany of live viola performance. We will explore balancing and healing effects of yin yoga while gaining some knowledge about yin and yang energy dynamics within our lives.
Due to corona virus participation is limited. Please follow the link in the event page to get your tickets. There are enough yoga mats in the studio, but if you want you can bring your own yoga mat or a towel that you can lay on the mat. We will be sending an e-mail to all participants about some practical informations before the workshop. Feel free to drop a message if you have any question about the event.

Gülşen Karaca Kerman was born in 1986 in Turkey. During her studies at Bilkent University she studied violin (with Rafik Zamanov), viola (with Elena Gnezdilova and Svetlana Smolina), piano (with Andrée Sommer), and chamber music (with Yiğit Ülgen), where she performed various solo and chamber music recitals. She graduated from Bilkent University in 2010 with an honorary degree in viola.
Following her graduation, she worked as a teacher in the “Early Music Education” unit of the same university and at Workshop Performing Institute in Ankara. She attended master classes by Tatjana Masurenko, Michael Kugel, Çetin Aydar, and Ruşen Güneş and performed in ensemble/orchestras such as The World Youth Orchestra, The World Orchestra, Greek Turkish Youth Orchestra, Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra, Bilkent Youth Virtuosos, The Turco-British Association Bach Days, Datça International Music Academy. She took part in events and festival concerts such as International D-Marin Classical Music Festival, AIMA Ayvalık Music Festival. She is currently living and pursuing her musical career in The Netherlands.
