Training for Embodied Couples Therapy

An experiential, energetic, and expressive approach to couples work

Starting April 2011 Brian and Marcia Gleason will be offering a certification in a unique model of body-centred, energy dynamic couples therapy. Offered through the Dutch Institute of Cordium Core Evolutionary, this training will take place over three weekends. The goal is to introduce therapists and helping professionals to an entirely new approach to working with couples. The Embodied Couples Therapy Training is an opportunity to learn how to access the shared energy of each couple to support them in not only healing the past, but in becoming more fully alive, sensual, creative and unconditionally loving. Beyond therapy, this training will open new doors to your practice as you bring into your work a new paradigm of helping couples.

Brian Gleason, LCSW, and Marcia Gleason, LCSW are the co-founders of "Exceptional Marriage," an experience-based methodology for working with committed relationships.

REQUIREMENTS
Participants need to be skilled professionals. They’re body-centered therapists, or have done a module of bodywork. There will be a brief intake interview.

DATES
Module 1      2011, April 8-11th
Module 2      2011, September 16-19th 
Module 3      2012, February 10-13th
4 Group supervision sessions 2011, May, July, November and December

INVESTMENT
Program tuition € 2.250, without meals and lodging. Payment plans are possible.
Price for stay at Zevenhof te Havelte (training facility) for 3 modules is € 828.
Price for 4 Group supervision sessions is € 500

QUALIFICATIONS
After successfully finished the training participants are certified EMM therapists. Certification involves participation in all of the modules plus supervision requirements.
